Balgownie Market Update 8 November 2019

Hi guys, it’s Sarah Ward here with your weekly Balgownie update.

We’ve had a really big week here at One Agency. We had our awards night on Sunday night. And while I didn’t come away with the prize, I was a finalist in the two categories that I mentioned last week, sales consultant of the year and also excellence in rural sales. I was so proud to be one of only three finalists in each category and the only female in each of those. So I’m really pleased with how far I’ve come this year and everything that I’ve achieved.

We had Melbourne Cup day wasn’t a winner there either and did not back a winner all day. But I did have a fantastic birthday so thank you to my friends and family that did come along to celebrate the day with me there. As what’s happening in Balgownie. There are three new properties on the market this week. There’s a big property at number 54-58 Wellington Drive. Now that is a four-bedroom home but it’s sitting on over an acre of land that has a guide of $2.8 million. So it is quite a unique property.

The other property on the market this week is at number 10 Sherwood Drive in Balgownie. It’s also a four-bedroom home. It’s an auction with no guide at this point. The last one another four-bedroom home at 17 Frost Parade, this one has a price guide of 782 $820,000. There have been no sales to take place this week. I’ve put a sold sign up this week just nearby at 38 Norman Street in Fairy Meadow. That property was on the market with another agent. They had a campaign there that was unsuccessful. We managed to sell this one just after the scheduled auction date. And this family is now off to Queensland so I’m super happy for them and so thrilled that they gave me the opportunity to sell their home.
